First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looked at whether chewing caffeinated gum for 5 minutes or 10 minutes changes how quickly caffeine gets into the blood and how long it stays at high levels. Thirty healthy men each tried both chewing times on separate days. The results may help people decide how long to chew caffeinated gum for the best effect.
