New drug combo shows promise in stomach cancer fight

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug cadonilimab to standard chemotherapy (SOX) before and after surgery helps people with stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer live longer without the cancer coming back. About 760 participants will receive either cadonilimab or a placebo plus chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the combination improves outcomes like tumor disappearance and survival.
