New drug combo shows promise in advanced cervical cancer trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug cadonilimab to standard chemotherapy and radiation can help people with locally advanced cervical cancer live longer without the disease getting worse. About 378 women aged 18-70 with stage IIB-IVA cervical cancer will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the new combination is more effective than the current standard treatment.
