Heart failure patients with AF: which treatment works best?

NCT ID NCT07272902

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 01, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests two ways to manage atrial fibrillation in people with heart failure: using a procedure called catheter ablation to restore normal rhythm, or using medications to control heart rate. About 84 participants will be randomly assigned to one of these approaches. The goal is to see which method better reduces hospitalizations, improves survival, and enhances quality of life.
