First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment called CABA-201 for people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), a disease that causes hardening of the skin and can damage organs. The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and destroy certain immune cells that drive the disease. The trial aims to see if it is safe and can control the disease, but it is not expected to be a cure.
