New combo aims to outsmart immunotherapy resistance in advanced bladder cancer

Summary
This early-phase trial tests whether adding the experimental drug CA-4948 to the immunotherapy pembrolizumab can help people with advanced bladder cancer that no longer responds to standard immunotherapy. About 27 adults with metastatic or inoperable urothelial cancer will receive the combination to find the safest dose and check for side effects. The goal is to see if this approach can overcome treatment resistance and shrink tumors.
