First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tests a computer program where an avatar guides people through quitting smoking, plus a community health worker helps them get a lung cancer scan. About 30 adults aged 50+ who smoke will try it and be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if the approach is practical and acceptable, not yet to prove it works.
