First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding BPR-101 capsules to standard antibiotic treatment (metronidazole) can prevent bacterial vaginosis (BV) from returning. About 80 women with BV will receive either the combination or a placebo. The goal is to see if the new approach lowers the chance of BV coming back and improves safety.
