New combo therapy aims to end recurring vaginal infections

Summary

This study tests whether a new capsule (BPR-101) taken with standard antibiotic treatment can prevent bacterial vaginosis from returning. About 80 women with active BV will receive either the combination or a placebo. The goal is to see if the new approach lowers the chance of recurrence and improves cure rates.
