Summary
This study tests a dietary supplement called ButyMixx in 40 adults with ulcerative colitis that is in remission. ButyMixx contains sodium butyrate and a beneficial yeast to support gut health. Participants take two sachets daily for 8 weeks, and researchers check if symptoms, quality of life, and gut inflammation improve. The goal is to see if the supplement is safe and helps keep the disease under control.
