First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 adults with chronic subdural hematoma (a slow brain bleed) to see if using one or two small holes in the skull is better for draining the blood. Patients were split into two groups and followed for up to 3 months. The goal was to find which method leads to fewer complications like infection, longer hospital stays, or the bleed coming back.
