Human placenta vs. silver: the battle for better burn healing
NCT ID NCT07300137
Summary
This study compares two types of wound dressings to see which helps second-degree burns heal faster. One dressing is made from a special membrane from human placenta (amniotic membrane), and the other is a silver-coated dressing (Aquacel Ag). The trial will involve 100 people with recent burns in Pakistan to find the most effective and potentially cost-efficient option.
