Ancient membrane vs modern silver: the burn healing showdown
NCT ID NCT07300137
Summary
This study aims to find out which dressing helps second-degree burns heal faster: a human amniotic membrane or a modern silver-impregnated dressing called Aquacel® Ag. It will involve 100 people in Pakistan with recent burns covering up to 40% of their body. The goal is to provide doctors with clear evidence on the most effective and affordable option to improve recovery and reduce complications.
