App teaches teens to be bullying bystander heroes

Summary
This study tested whether a mobile web app could teach middle school students how to safely step in when they see bullying. Over 600 students from four states used the app and reported their experiences. The goal was to see if the app increased students' knowledge and confidence to intervene, and whether it reduced bullying at school.
