AI chatbot and nicotine gum aim to help construction workers kick the habit

Summary
This pilot study tests a program to help construction workers in Hong Kong quit smoking. Participants will get nicotine gum, a week of nicotine replacement therapy samples, and 12 weeks of support from a chatbot via WhatsApp. The study will see if this combined approach is practical and helps more people quit than just using nicotine gum alone.
