Summary
This study tests a steroid tablet (budesonide) in 70 children aged 5-17 with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. The goal is to see if the drug can safely bring the disease into remission (no symptoms) within 56 days. Participants may continue their usual medications. This is a Phase 4 trial, meaning the drug is already approved for adults, and researchers are now checking its effects in children.
