Summary
This study tested whether a budesonide nasal spray can improve smell in COVID-19 patients who lost it for at least 30 days. About 120 adults with mild COVID-19 and persistent smell loss took part. The treatment aims to reduce inflammation in the nose and help restore the sense of smell.
