Virus vs. cancer: first human trial tests direct tumor attack
NCT ID NCT05938296
Summary
This is an early safety study testing a modified virus called BS006, which is designed to infect and kill cancer cells. The virus is injected directly into tumors of patients with advanced solid cancers who have run out of standard treatment options. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see how the body handles the virus, while also checking for any early signs that it might help shrink tumors.
