Virus vs. cancer: early trial tests direct tumor injection

NCT ID NCT05938296

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a modified virus called BS006, which is injected directly into tumors. It aims to see if the virus can help the body's immune system fight advanced solid tumors in patients who have already tried standard treatments. The study is currently suspended and was enrolling adults with certain measurable tumors, like melanoma or skin cancer, that can be felt or seen on an ultrasound.
