Summary
This study aimed to better understand how brown fat (a special type of fat that burns calories) works in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers exposed 6 participants to cold temperatures to activate their brown fat, then used advanced medical imaging to measure how it responded. The goal was to gather knowledge about diabetes metabolism, not to test a treatment.
