Summary
This small, completed study aimed to better understand how brown fat, a type of 'good' body fat that burns calories for heat, works in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers used cold exposure and advanced medical scans on a small group of people with and without diabetes to measure brown fat activity more accurately than before.
