Scientists map 'Good Fat' to fight obesity

NCT ID NCT04352244

Summary

This study aims to understand how brown fat, a special type of fat that burns energy, differs from regular white fat. Researchers will collect small fat samples from 40 healthy adults to analyze their cells in detail. The goal is to build a detailed map of human fat tissue, which could eventually lead to new ways to improve metabolism and treat conditions like obesity and type 2 diabetes.
