Summary
This study is testing a new, safe imaging technology to look at 'brown fat,' a type of fat that burns calories for heat. Researchers want to see if this scan can measure how brown fat works and spot differences between healthy people and those with metabolic syndrome. Participants will have scans before and after a brief cold exposure to see how their brown fat responds.
