Can a Baby's bad cold lead to childhood asthma? study investigates
NCT ID NCT00676351
Summary
This study aimed to understand if having bronchiolitis, a common infant lung infection, increases a child's risk of developing asthma. Researchers followed 29 infants who had bronchiolitis, testing their lung function and for allergies over three years. The goal was to gather knowledge about the link between early infections and later breathing problems, not to provide treatment.
