First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a once-daily tablet called CHF10196 (Florensocatib) to see if it can reduce the number of lung flare-ups (exacerbations) in people with bronchiectasis, a chronic lung disease. About 1808 participants aged 12 to 85 will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo for up to 78 weeks, followed by an open-label phase where everyone gets the drug. The goal is to improve lung function and quality of life while monitoring safety.
