Pineapple enzyme pill may speed up recovery after jaw surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a bromelain supplement (an enzyme from pineapple) can reduce facial swelling after jaw surgery. About 200 adults will take the supplement daily for 9 days (starting 2 days before surgery). Researchers will use 3D imaging to measure swelling volume and duration, comparing results to a control group.
