Summary
This study tests a brief 4-session psychological treatment for people with borderline personality disorder (BPD) who come to the emergency department with suicidal thoughts or self-harm. The goal is to see if this short therapy can reduce suicidal thinking, improve symptoms, and lower the need for future emergency care. About 180 participants will be enrolled at a single hospital.
