First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 4-week breathing exercise program using a special device could improve diaphragm and belly muscle thickness and reduce liver fat in healthy women aged 60-80. Twenty-six women were split into two groups: one did the breathing exercises twice daily, and the other continued their normal routine. Researchers measured muscle thickness and liver fat before and after the program to see if the training made a difference.
