Breathing workout may ease sleep apnea in severe obesity

Summary

This study tests whether 12 weeks of daily breathing exercises using a special device can reduce sleep apnea severity and improve sleep quality in 10 adults with severe obesity (BMI over 40) and obstructive sleep apnea. Participants will do progressively harder breathing workouts at home. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can ease symptoms and strengthen breathing muscles.
