Could simple breathing exercises ease the strain of a serious lung condition?
NCT ID NCT03102294
Summary
This study tested whether training the breathing muscles could help people with pulmonary hypertension feel less short of breath and be more active. For 8 weeks, 32 participants with the condition either did special breathing exercises or a sham version without resistance. Researchers measured how far participants could walk and how long they could exercise to see if the training made a difference.
