Could simple breathing exercises ease strain for pulmonary hypertension patients?
NCT ID NCT03102294
Summary
This study tested whether training the breathing muscles could help people with pulmonary hypertension feel better and be more active. Thirty-two patients with the condition were assigned to either do special breathing exercises or fake (sham) exercises for eight weeks. Researchers measured if the training improved how far patients could walk and how long they could exercise.
