First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a set of breathing exercises could improve lung function and breathing muscle strength in older adults (ages 60-85) who are not very active. 26 participants did breathing training, and researchers measured their lung capacity, chest expansion, and shortness of breath. The goal was to see if these exercises could make breathing easier and improve overall fitness.
