NCT ID NCT07539116

First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether adding breathing training to a regular exercise program can help adults with long-term back or neck pain. 183 people took part in a 12-week program. One group did exercise only, another added breathing exercises with biofeedback, and a third got general advice. The results showed that combining breathing training with exercise may lower pain, improve anxiety and depression, and sharpen thinking skills like attention and mental flexibility.
