Breathe away the pain: simple breathing training eases chronic back and neck discomfort

NCT ID NCT07539116

First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether adding breathing training to a regular exercise program can help adults with long-term back or neck pain. 183 people took part in a 12-week program. One group did only exercise, another added breathing exercises with biofeedback, and a third got general advice. The goal was to see if the breathing group had less pain, better mood, and sharper thinking. Results are not yet reported.
