How your breath during surgery could affect kidney stone removal

NCT ID NCT07304297

Summary

This study looked at whether the amount of air a patient breathes in and out during anesthesia (called tidal volume) affects how well kidney stone surgery goes. Researchers compared two groups of 70 adult patients having a specific type of kidney stone removal. They tracked if different breathing settings changed surgery time, how completely the stone was removed, or the risk of complications like infection.
