New digital breathing coach aims to ease breathlessness

Summary

This study tests a digital biofeedback system that helps people with dysfunctional breathing (also called breathing pattern disorder) improve their breathing with guidance from a physiotherapist. Ten adults who have had breathing difficulties for at least six months will use the system to see if it improves lung function and reduces symptoms like breathlessness. The goal is to make breathing retraining more effective and accessible.
