Summary

This study looked at whether adding paced or diaphragmatic breathing to mat Pilates helps people with stage II hypertension. 63 adults aged 40-50 did Pilates three times a week for six weeks. Researchers measured stress, anxiety, heart and lung endurance, shortness of breath, and quality of life. The goal was to see which breathing method works better for managing high blood pressure.
