Can 10 minutes of daily breathing ease stress for seniors?
NCT ID NCT07263828
Summary
This study tested whether a simple breathing meditation program could help older adults feel less stressed and improve their quality of life. Researchers enrolled 128 volunteers over age 65 and randomly assigned them to either practice 15 minutes of daily breathing meditation for 10 days or to receive no special program. The goal was to see if this easy, side-effect-free practice could make a meaningful difference in how seniors cope with stress and feel about their lives.
