Summary
This study tested whether a 10-day breathing meditation program could lower stress and improve quality of life in people over 65. 128 older adults took part, with half doing daily 15-minute breathing sessions and the other half receiving no intervention. The results showed that the breathing group reported less stress and a stronger sense of personal integrity, suggesting this simple, side-effect-free practice can benefit elderly well-being.
