First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether guided breathing exercises can reduce pain, shortness of breath, and improve daily function in people with terminal cancer who are receiving palliative care. 58 patients took part: one group did specific breathing exercises with a physiotherapist, while the other group just got an educational brochure. The goal was to see if these simple exercises could make a real difference in comfort and quality of life.
