First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at two breathing exercise methods to help children aged 5–16 who have fluid around their lungs (pleural effusion). One group will use a simple bubble-blowing device with special breathing techniques, while the other uses a standard incentive spirometer. Both groups also receive standard chest therapy. The goal is to see which method better improves lung expansion and reduces shortness of breath. The study involves 40 children from two hospitals in Lahore.
