5-Minute daily breathing exercise could lower blood pressure in sleep apnea patients
NCT ID NCT04932447
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, 5-minute daily breathing exercise can lower blood pressure and improve heart health in adults aged 50 and older who have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. Participants will use a handheld device to perform breathing strength training for 24 weeks. Researchers want to see if this easy routine can be a practical way to manage high blood pressure, especially for people who struggle with traditional exercise or standard sleep apnea treatments.
