A simple breath could ease Chemo's worst side effect
NCT ID NCT07456982
Summary
This study tested whether a simple relaxation breathing exercise could help reduce nausea and vomiting in people with blood cancers who are undergoing chemotherapy. Sixty-eight patients were split into two groups: one practiced the breathing exercises alongside standard anti-nausea medication, while the other received only the medication. Researchers measured their nausea levels for six days after starting chemo to see if the breathing technique made a difference.
