NCT ID NCT07565259
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether coaching people to breathe slowly and calmly before anesthesia can keep oxygen levels higher and extend the time they can safely hold their breath. 120 adults having planned surgery will either get standard care or guided breathing instructions. Researchers will measure oxygen levels, vital signs, and anxiety to see if this simple technique improves safety.
