First seen May 07, 2026 ยท Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether coaching patients to breathe slowly and calmly before receiving anesthesia can improve oxygen levels and extend the time they can safely hold their breath during surgery. Researchers will compare standard preparation with a guided breathing technique in 120 adults having elective surgery. The goal is to see if this simple, no-cost approach can reduce risks and anxiety.
