A puff of air could save your heart: new breath test aims to spot deadly chest pain fast
NCT ID NCT07379567
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive breath test to help doctors quickly tell if a patient's chest pain is a sign of a life-threatening heart problem. Researchers will analyze chemicals in the breath of 6,000 people who come to the emergency room with chest pain. The goal is to create a faster, simpler tool to identify high-risk patients who need urgent care and to avoid unnecessary tests for those who don't.
