First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study collects breath samples from 235 people with type 2 diabetes or obesity to improve a device that estimates blood sugar from exhaled air. Participants simply breathe into a portable analyzer. The goal is to refine the device's algorithm so it can one day offer a painless alternative to traditional blood glucose monitoring.
