First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study will test a program called BEST4Baby that uses a mobile health app and community peer counselors to support mothers in India with breastfeeding. About 336 pregnant women will take part, and researchers will track how many babies are exclusively breastfed at 6 months, as well as infant growth and brain development. The goal is to see if this approach can improve feeding practices and health outcomes in a low-resource setting.
