NCT ID NCT07496307
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a structured, midwife-led breastfeeding education program can improve sucking skills in babies who refuse the nipple, boost mothers' breastfeeding motivation, and strengthen mother-infant bonding. About 64 mothers with infants aged 1-6 months who have had nipple refusal for 3-30 days will be randomly assigned to either the education program or standard care. The program lasts one week, followed by 15 days of online support, and outcomes are measured before and after the intervention.
