New endoscopic breast reconstruction could cut recovery time

NCT ID NCT07602868

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study looks at a newer, less invasive way to rebuild a breast after mastectomy, called endoscopic direct-to-implant reconstruction. It will compare this method to the standard flap surgery (using tissue from the belly) in about 588 women across China. The goal is to see which approach leads to better satisfaction, fewer complications, and faster recovery.
